The Rise of Border Walls in Contemporary Politics
In the 21st century, migration has become a defining political issue in many countries. One of the most prominent examples of the modern border wall debate occurred in the United States during the presidency of Donald Trump. His administration promoted the expansion of a barrier along the southern border with Mexico, arguing that it would stop illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and human smuggling.
