Hayden Panettiere began working in entertainment when she was very young. During the 1990s, she appeared in television productions including One Life to Live and Guiding Light, gaining experience at an age when most children were still far removed from professional acting.
She made her film debut at just nine years old as the voice of Princess Dot in Pixar’s A Bug’s Life. The project introduced her to an enormous audience and demonstrated that she could work successfully across different forms of entertainment.
As she grew older, her career continued to expand.
