For Mark Consuelos, the move also carries personal significance.

Although he became a permanent co-host only in 2023, his connection to the show stretches back much further.

Over the years, he appeared numerous times as a guest host.

Each appearance showcased the easy chemistry that exists naturally between him and Kelly.

Their conversations never felt rehearsed.

Instead, audiences watched a genuine married couple share funny stories, playful teasing, and honest conversations.

When ABC announced Mark as Kelly’s permanent co-host, many longtime viewers welcomed the decision enthusiastically.

The transition felt natural because audiences already knew their relationship so well.

Now, the couple begins another shared chapter together in a completely new environment.

A New Home at Hudson Square
Although saying goodbye was difficult, the future looks bright.

Live has officially relocated to Disney’s impressive Robert A. Iger Building at 7 Hudson Square in Lower Manhattan.

The move places the show inside Disney’s brand-new New York headquarters alongside other company operations.

Before the permanent set was completed, Kelly, Mark, and the production team temporarily broadcast from an interim studio located nearby.

Kelly joked about filming close to the employee cafeteria, proving once again that unexpected circumstances often produce some of the funniest moments.

On April 14, viewers finally saw the newly designed studio.
