The shooter targeted a fellow staff member, a 25-year-old coworker, and shot him twice in the arm. The motive behind the attack has not yet been disclosed, but the fact that both individuals worked at the same facility added a troubling layer to the incident.

Following the shooting, the victim was quickly taken to the hospital’s emergency department for treatment. Despite the serious nature of the injuries, medical staff were able to stabilize the individual.

He remains in stable condition, according to hospital officials, and is expected to recover.
